35 years ago, NAND flash was a brand-new technology – and it would have been hard to imagine all of the ways that it would impact our lives. Take your car, for example. If you’re anything like me, you rely on your GPS navigation system to help you get where you’re going. We’ve certainly come a long way from the days of fumbling around in the glove compartment and pulling out a huge, folded up map – anyone else remember carrying around those printed turn by turn directions? – all thanks to NAND flash.
This year marks a huge milestone for the transformative technology we invented back in 1987, and we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate our innovation.
To that end, we have created four fun, short videos that take a whimsical look at what life would be like without NAND flash.
