The Future of Mobile Storage is Here: Meet UFS 4.0

The Future of Mobile Storage is Here

The next generation of Universal Flash Storage (UFS) has arrived – and it’s bringing along significant performance increases. UFS 4.0 enhances the capabilities of next-generation smartphones and other products, while taking the end user experience seamlessly into the 5G era - and beyond.

KIOXIA was the first to deliver samples of UFS technology in 20131. Since then, KIOXIA has been at the forefront of UFS development, driving the technology to faster speeds and better power efficiency. With the introduction of the latest UFS standard, 4.0, we continue to show our commitment to creating technologies that enable advancements in an ever-changing digital world.

Our new, dedicated UFS 4.0 site has everything you need to know about the technology standard that’s bringing speed and power efficiency to mobile devices. Take a closer look at UFS 4.0, the future of mobile storage.
