Innovation Through Collaboration: KIOXIA at Dell Technologies World 2026

Innovation Through Collaboration KIOXIA at DTW 2026

Dell Technologies World 2026 was all about shaping the future of business through innovation, collaboration, and infrastructure designed for the next wave of AI.

For KIOXIA, the event was an opportunity to showcase how our work with Dell Technologies is helping organizations meet the growing demands for performance, scalability, and efficiency across modern workloads.

One of the biggest highlights from the show was the live demonstration of the industry's first1 server configuration capable of delivering 9.8 petabytes of flash storage in a single 2U server. Developed in collaboration with Dell Technologies, the solution features KIOXIA LC9 Series 245.76 TB E3.L enterprise NVMe™ SSDs in a Dell PowerEdge™ server - making KIOXIA the first to market with this breakthrough storage technology.

Beyond this milestone, visitors to the KIOXIA booth saw how our SSD portfolio enhances performance across Dell's major enterprise platforms. These demonstrations highlighted how organizations can support both traditional enterprise applications and emerging AI workloads with a storage foundation built for scale.

AI was also front and center throughout the week. As the industry shifts from AI training to inference, storage is playing an increasingly important role in determining how quickly organizations can access, manage, and derive value from their data. KIOXIA demonstrated how advanced SSD technologies help customers prepare for this evolution.

And, of course, there was plenty of excitement on the show floor. Our AI headshot experience and generative AI video game demo quickly became attendee favorites, giving visitors a hands-on look at the innovative applications AI is making possible.

The conversations extended beyond the booth, with KIOXIA and Dell Technologies leading sessions on how organizations can prepare their storage infrastructure for the next wave of AI workloads.

At the heart of it all was a simple message: we're better together. By combining KIOXIA's high-performance SSD technology with Dell Technologies' platforms, we're helping organizations improve application performance, increase scalability, and build the infrastructure needed for the next generation of AI-driven workloads.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to see us! We look forward to continuing to shape the future of enterprise and AI storage - together.

1: As of May 14, 2026, based on a KIOXIA survey.

NVMe is a registered or unregistered mark of NVM Express, Inc. in the United States and other countries.

Dell Technologies, Dell, and other trademarks are trademarks of Dell Inc. or its subsidiaries.

Definition of SSD capacity: KIOXIA Corporation defines a kilobyte (KB) as 1,000 bytes, a megabyte (MB) as 1,000,000 bytes, a gigabyte (GB) as 1,000,000,000 bytes, a terabyte (TB) as 1,000,000,000,000 bytes, a petabyte (PB) as 1 billion megabytes.and a kibibyte (KiB) as 1,024 bytes. A computer operating system, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1GB = 2^30 bytes = 1,073,741,824 bytes and 1TB = 2^40 bytes = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system, and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
