The first NAND Flash to be invented, SLC (single-level cell) NAND still plays an important role today. From consumer products and industrial systems to networking and printers, it's ideal for performing boot functions and storing OS code.
Toshiba is producing SLC NAND Flash in three different lithographies: 43 nm, 32 nm and 24 nm. We also have a lineup of SLC NAND products with built-in ECC – for those using processors without sufficient ECC. We call these products BENAND.
