Faster downloads. Reduced lag time. The next generation of smartphones and mobile applications promise a better user experience thanks to expanded features and capabilities – and the ultra-fast data rates of 5G. In order to help make all of these improvements a reality, KIOXIA is scaling our UFS embedded flash memory lineup to higher densities and increasing performance. Our 1TB UFS Ver 3.1 brings the ultra-high speed read/write performance1, low power consumption, shortened application launch times and storage capacity demanded by 5G and other digital consumer products. It’s also the thinnest 1TB UFS offering available2, at just 1.1mm thick.
KIOXIA has been at the forefront of UFS memory since 2013, when we were the first to sample the technology, and we’re not stopping now. Look for us to continually update our lineup of managed flash solutions that make an improved user experience a reality.

Read and write speed may vary depending on the host device, read and write conditions, and file size.
Universal Flash Storage (UFS) is a product category for a class of embedded memory products built to the JEDEC UFS standard specification. JEDEC is a registered trademark of JEDEC Solid State Technology Association.
In every mention of a KIOXIA product: Definition of capacity - KIOXIA Corporation defines a megabyte (MB) as 1,000,000 bytes, a gigabyte (GB) as 1,000,000,000 bytes and a terabyte (TB) as 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. A computer operating system, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1Gb = 230 bits = 1,073,741,824 bits, 1GB = 230 bytes = 1,073,741,824 bytes and 1TB = 240 bytes = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system, and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
