The buzz surrounding Flash Memory Summit 2023 was all about PCIe® 5.0 advantages, NVMe® technology, CXL, and industry initiatives such as sustainability. Of course, KIOXIA was right in the middle of it all. At this year’s FMS, awards were won, hands were shaken, technologies and solutions were debuted and – memories were made.
At the show, our own Shigeo (Jeff) Ohshima took center stage to give a much-anticipated keynote, titled ‘KIOXIA: Making the Future of Flash.’ I’ll let FMS conference chair Tom Coughlin sum up the talk for you here.
KIOXIA was once again recognized by FMS show runners, with our new CD8P drives receiving the ‘Best of Show’ award in the ‘Most Innovative Memory Technology’ category. Making their public debut at FMS, this exciting new family of PCIe 5.0 NVMe data center SSDs stand ready to meet the increased demands for high-performance computing from next-generation PCIe 5.0 server platforms.
